From chefelaine 15 years agoIngredients
- 2 1/2 cups multi-grain flour shopping list
- 1 pkg yeast shopping list
- 1 cup warm water shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp sea salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup canola oil shopping list
- 2 whole eggs shopping list
- butter for coating shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare the yeast in the warm water with the sugar.
- When the yeast has worked, add it to the flour
- add the salt
- add the oil
- add the eggs.
- combine all thoroughly
- knead about 2 minutes. This dough does not require much kneading in order to make it rise much!
- Butter the bowl on the outside so the dough will not stick
- Form a ball of dough, flatten out either with fingers or rolling pin to make a circle
- place the circle of dough onto the buttered bowl, and form the shape of the bowl
- coat the dough with butter
- place on baking sheet
- let rise only briefly, about 15 minutes
- Bake at 350*F for about 30 minutes, or until the bowls are golden brown
- Leave on the bowls to cool completely.
- Removing while hot will only break the bowls!
