Reenies Garlic Bread

I love bread.....And I love it even more with garlic and butter on it
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. garlic, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter, unsalted preferably and softened shopping list
- 1 tbls. extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 2 tbls. parsley or basil, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 loaf Italian bread shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- With knife, mash garlic and salt together to make paste
- In small mixing bowl, mix together butter, olive oil, and garlic paste
- Mix in parley or basil
- Cut bread diagonally into 1 in. thick slices without cutting completely through bottom of bread
- Spread garlic butter between slices
- Wrap in foil
- Bake for 15 minutes
- Open foil and bake 5 more minutes
