Sloshed Santa Sauce

- 2/3- cups plus 2 tablespoons scotch, bourbon, or brandy shopping list
- 1/2 - cup raisins shopping list
- 1 1/4 - cups heavy cream shopping list
- 2- tablespoons powdered sugar sifted shopping list
- 1/2 - cup walnut halves, toasted shopping list
How to make it
- Bring 2/3 cup of the choosen booze and the raisins to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until almost all of the liquor has been absorbed by the raisins or has evaporated, 7 to 8 minutes
- transfer the sloshed raisins to a dinner plate, spreading evenly
- refrigerate until needed.
- place the cream, powdered sugar, and remaining 2 tablespoons of the booze in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a balloon whip..
- whisk the mixture on medium- high until very soft peaks form about 1 minute
- the mixture should be fluffy but smooth ........not stiff.................
- add the chilled raisins and the walnuts and using a rubber spatula fold them into the whipped cream
- transfer the sauce to a 2 quart plastic container if not using right away refrigerate until needed this should be used the day you prepare it .......................
- makes 4 cups............

Now where was this recipe when my kids were setting out plain old chocolate milk (instant) for santa... yucko..
