Salisbury Steak Bourguignonne

- 1 can Campbells mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 egg, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 3 slices bacon shopping list
- 1/3 cup water shopping list
- 1/4 cup Burgundy or another red dry wine. shopping list
- 1 small clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/4 tsp marjororam shopping list
How to make it
- Mix thoroughly 1/3 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg and salt.
- Shape into 6 oval patties.
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove and crumble.
- Pour off all but 2 tbs. drippings.
- Brown patties in drippings. Stir in remaining soup, water, wine, and seasonings.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally.
- Serve over cooked noodles, garnish with bacon. Makes 6 servings.

This sounds really good. Salisbury steak is one of my big comfort foods, and this one sounds different and delicious!
