Ingredients

How to make it

  • in largesauce-pan, cover tatters, with heavily salted water. and simmer over med heat till fork tender, about 20 minutes
  • drain, return to pan
  • set pan over med heat and add cream,garlic,bayleaf,thyme sprigs,and rosemary and butter
  • allow to simmer for 20 minutes
  • strain mixture and set aside--do not allow to cool
  • mash taters with fork, add warm cream mixture, a little at a time
  • untill you reach desired consistency
  • drizzle with truffle oil
  • sstart out with 1 tbl. mix and taste season with salt and pepper

    I saw this recipe this morning on the food network. Now here it is again. I'm going to have to invest in a bottle of truffle oil. Is there a good brand? I've heard some have more truffle than others. I am saving this for payday. Sounds great. -Lori
