moms country green beans secret

Mom served this every Thanksgiving.it was a great pleaser.
Ingredients
- 2 cans green beans drained shopping list
- 4-5 slices bacon cut into pieces shopping list
- 1 small onion diced shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 t sugar shopping list
- apple cider vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- brown baco pieces over med. heat
- add onion to bacon and saute till onion is translucent
- add green beans to pan
- add sugar salt and pepper to taste
- add a splash of cider vinegar
- reduce heat and let flavors come together stiring occasionally
