i got this from a mexican chef
in a restaurant in texas, he did not speak english very well, and i do not speak spanish very well.
but we used hand language and pointing at my. plate. we were the only ones in the restaurant..so he gave me this rec... More

Ingredients
- 2 lb thin cut skirt steak, cut into 1/2" slices {against the grain}
- that point alone, took 5 minutes to splain..dumb gringo!!!!!
- 3 cups orange juice 100%. pure
- 4 oranges cut in 1/4 " slices
- pound meat to tenderise, put in bowl and marinate
- in refrigerater over nite
- grill meat with orange slices
- heat the marinate
- serve on a corn tortilla, or on a platter with yellow rice,refried beans
- i made a friend that day...that was better than the recipe!

Love this recipe. It is a nice change from the Carne Asada marinaded in lime juice that we always use, besides, I love orange anything. Next time we make steak tacos, I'm making 'em this way!
