Hi Lil Coop! I made your Grandmother's fudge recipe yesterday. It never set as I checked it this morning plus it was really grainy and I hadn't stirred it after it started to boil. Would you by any chance have any other suggestions on how to cook the fudge? Are we supposed to stir it for a long time after its cooked like other fudge recipes? Or should we put it in the fridge to harden? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated here as I have been trying to find a golden-colored fudge or a fudge without chocolate in it for a long time. Thanks so much!

This is a very easy and wonderful recipe! I do have to admit that it reminds me more of a praline rather than a fudge, but very delicous! I cooked mine a little longer than 5 mins. Just judge the time according to the thickness. Thanks!!!

I had no problem which I usually do here with all the humidity.... it was great... I ran the air full blast to get rid of the humidity! Worth a 5 to me!

Remember humidity can affect fudge , candies , etc. a LOT . i would start stirring in the sugar as soon as you start cooking it to help dissolve it and that might help with the grainy part .
