How to make it

  • Cook the spinach according to package, and drain well.
  • Saute the onions and garlic until they become translucent.
  • Mix the ingredients together. If the spinach mix seems too wet, add more bread crumbs.
  • Form the mixture into golf ball sized balls.
  • Put in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f
  • After the spinach balls have hardened in the freezer, place them on a cookie sheet and put in the oven.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until they start to brown.

This recipe also looks like a great way to get spinach lovers to eat EVEN MORE spinach! Love this recipe! It seems so versatile, to be eaten as a snack as you say, or a as a burger as trigger suggests. They also seem quite dip-able....We could have fun making up dips for these babies!

Hi, I printed this recipe for my private collection. LOVE spinach or kale in recipes, but not by itself. Crazy, but when it's in a dish it not only is pretty, but I really think it adds to it's flavor. Thanks for passing this one on. Happy Cooking!
