Ingredients
  • Makes 8 burritos
  • 1 can Pinto Beans (14.5 oz)
  • 1.5 lbs 93/7 lean ground beef
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup Salsa ( I used Newman's Own medium)
  • 4 oz Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
  • 3 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp tabasco sauce
  • 8 Whole Wheat Tortilla, LaTortilla Factory

Directions
  1. Brown ground beef and onions, let simmer for 10 minutes
  2. Mash pinto beans with the salsa then add to the beef mixture
  3. Stir spices and tobasco into beef and bean mixture.
  4. Let simmer for another 10 minutes
  5. Warm tortillas in microwave wrapped in a dish towel with a bit of water
  6. Put about 1/2 cup of mixture on each tortilla. Top mixture with some shredded cheese and roll up.
  7. Top with some additional salsa. Serve warm.
