Sagami / All my dishes 1 year ago
We have Chinese Feast in this weekend, however I made 'Japanese' grilled dumpling for that. Dumpling is normally boiled or steamed in Chinese, but Japanese one is different, I think. This is my original for my family.

Oh my - I love dumplings and yours look and sound so delicious, Sagami. I wish I could reach into your pictures and taste one. I have made dumplings at home several times and they came out pretty good. The next time I make them, I will try your recipe. Thanks so much for posting it. Great pictures! :) Vickie

Hi Vickie,
Many thanks for your comment! Because it was bit difficult to explain in English to me, actually, I had some more step by step pictures but I could not uploaded. If you have any questions for grilling them, let me know, please! Sagami

Hi Sagami,
I love gyoza too! I like your recipe with step by step photos. Have you tried using kimchi instead of cabbage? It offers a nice spicy kick to the dumpling! Cheers, Daria

Hi kidaria,
Many thanks for your comment! Yes, I have tried kimuchi before, however my daughter could not eat, and she was sooo upset it. Kimuchi and cheese is good as well!!! Sagami

I adore japanese dumplings! I'll have to convert the ingredient amounts somehow, but I'm sure I can figure it out! Thanks for sharing!
