These are very tender and succulent pork chops. Serve over rice or noodles. This is from Allrecipes.

  • 5 pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/c flour
  • 1 lg. onion,sliced 1/4"thick
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 2c boiling water
  • 2Tbs flour
  • 1(8oz) container sour cream

Directions
  1. Season chops wit salt,pepper and garlic powder,then dredge in flour. In skillet, over med. heat,lightly brown chops in small amt. of oil;place in slow cooker and top with onion slices.
  2. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water and pour over chops. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours.
  3. After chops have cooked,remove from slow cooker and keep warm. Be careful,chops are so tender they will fall apart. In bowl,blend 2Tbs. flour with sour cream;mix into meat juices. Turn slow-cooker to high for 15 to 30 mins until sauce is slightly thickened. Serve sauce over chops.

This sounds delicious pleclare - I am sure I could do this in the oven too using a deep covered skillet with a low oven on 300 for about 4 hours - yes you think?

This sounds Great! I work full time and love my slow cooker, this sounds like one I will be using often.


I tried this recipe last night for my family, and I can't say enough about it. This was delicious!!! I would give it higher then 5 forks. My husband and I are doing weight watchers, and all I did differently is use low sodium chicken broth, and fat free sour cream. This is for sure a keeper. Thank you so much!

Alterations


Give it a try with goat cheese.... a great substitute for sour cream (30% less fat) and it will give the dish a really nice silky finish with a zing!
