Lucky Turkey Casserole Recipe
LUCKY TURKEY CASSEROLE This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Tinsley Estate in Venus, Texas in 1987.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon chopped white onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage
  • 3 cups diced turkey
  • 1 cup canned mushroom soup
  • 1 cup canned chicken broth
  • 1 cup water

Directions
  1. Mix bread cubes with celery, onion, salt and sage.
  2. Place one half of the bread mixture in bottom of a rectangular pan.
  3. Add a layer of turkey then add remaining bread cubes.
  4. Mix soup, chicken broth and water then pour liquid over bread mixture.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 350 then cool for 10 minutes and cut into squares.
