Comfort Cornbread

- 2 cups yellow cornmeal shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 3/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 7 tsp baking powder ( correct ) shopping list
- 2 cups milk ( not buttermilk ) shopping list
- 3 large eggs, fork beaten shopping list
- 2 Tbs melted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Mix and sift dry ingredients
- Add eggs, milk and melted butter,
- Stir to mositen but do not over beat
- Place in a 9 x 13 pan and bake 425 F until tops springs back when lightly pressed with a finger and when toothpick in center comes out clean
