Waffles from Pre-1940s

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fat, melted shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
How to make it
- Measure, mix and sift the first four ingredients.
- Gradually add the milk, then egg yolks and melted fat.
- Mix .
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg white.
- Cook in waffle iron, following directions given for the iron you use.
