Ingredients

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 carrots, grated

2 tablespoons light cooking oil

1 pound lean ground beef

1 cup tomato sauce

3 tablespoons catsup

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 tablespoon molasses

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon Worchestire sauce

Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

4-6 burger buns

Directions

In a large, heavy skillet, saute onion, garlic, and carrots in oil until soft. Add meat and cook just until no longer pink. Stir in remaining ingredients (except buns!). Cover and gently simmer 15 minutes. Serve on broiler-toasted buns.
