Better than pie-Pecan Pie bars

- Crust: shopping list
- 1 Cup softened butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 2 Cups flour shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1 t. vanilla extract shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 1-10 oz. pkg. English toffee bits shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Crust:
- Mix flour, butter and powdered sugar in a large bowl.
- Mixture should resemble coarse meal.
- Press firmly into bottom of 9 x 13 pan.
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
- Filling:
- In large mixing bowl beat milk, egg, salt and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in toffee bits and pecans.
- Spread evenly over crust.
- Bake for 20 - 25 minutes longer until lightly browned.
- Cool. Cover and refrigerate. Cut into bars before serving.
- Store in refrig if there are any left! :)

Sounds great. I can't wait to try this for christmas. that is when i bake all month long. but if u can't find toffee bits or toffee where u shop. is there anything else we can supstatute for them? thanks for posting. giveing u 5 forks!
