Better Than Pie-pecan Pie Bars Recipe

Ingredients

Crust:

1 Cup softened butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 Cups flour

Filling:

1 egg

1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

1 t. vanilla extract

pinch of salt

1-10 oz. pkg. English toffee bits

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Crust:

Mix flour, butter and powdered sugar in a large bowl.

Mixture should resemble coarse meal.

Press firmly into bottom of 9 x 13 pan.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Filling:

In large mixing bowl beat milk, egg, salt and vanilla until smooth.

Stir in toffee bits and pecans.

Spread evenly over crust.

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes longer until lightly browned.

Cool. Cover and refrigerate. Cut into bars before serving.

Store in refrig if there are any left! :)
