Overnight Crunch Coffee Cake

- BATTER: shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 2/3 cup margerine or butter shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup granulated white sugar shopping list
- ½ cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup butter milk shopping list
- TOPPING: shopping list
- ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) shopping list
- ½ cup brown sugar shopping list
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Cream together margerine, sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Set aside.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and 1 cup buttermilk to the creamed mixture.
- Pour into a greased 9x13-inch pan.
- Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over the batter. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
- Bake at 350F for 30-45 minutes or until done.

I like the idea of overnight, once in awhile I get a request for coffee cake and on a school morning I don't want to get up that early.
