Prawn Bhuna

- 2 dried red chillies ,deseeded if liked shopping list
- 3 fresh green chillies,finely chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp ground turmeric shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves,crushed shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 2 tsp white vine vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 500g uncooked peeled king prawns shopping list
- 3tbsp oil shopping list
- 1 onion,chopped very finely shopping list
- 175ml water shopping list
- 2 tbsp lemon juice shopping list
- 2 tsp garam masala shopping list
- sprigs of fresh coriander, to garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the chillies,garlic,spices,vinegar and salt in a non-metallic bowl. stir in the prawns and leave for 10 minutes.
- heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok, add the onion and fry for 3-4 mins until soft.
- add the prawns and the contents of the bowl to the pan and stir-fry over high heat for 2 mins.reduce the heat ,add the water and boil for 1o mins,stirring occasionally,until the water is evaporated and the curry is fragrant.
- stir in the lemon juice and garam masala then transferthe mixture to a warm serving dish and garnish with fresh coriander sprigs.
- serve to grinning hungry people!
