Wild caught, and from the USA. That's a must with me. This is an easy one. The pineapple, brown sugar and bourban all compliment the salmon.

And I don't even like salmon!

I always feel lucky when I walk into Costco and they have wild-caught salmon...like you, it is the only kind I will eat - farm raised just doesn't cut it for flavor. Your recipe sounds delish and I am looking forward to trying it next time I find salmon...thanks!

Yep....I learned a while ago that wild salmon is the ONLY way to go. I was beginning to think I didn't like salmon anymore until I realized it was the farm-raised stuff that was the problem. I'll change the bourbon to rum (gf, ya know) and the soy sauce to wheat-free tamari and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. 5, hon.

Outstanding recipe and I totally agree with you on wild caught salmon. There's no substitution for me. Thanks so much - I'm lovin' the flavors...yep. :)

Wild caught is what I always pick up for any recipe especially a recipe as wonderful as yours is. That fruity pineapple and brown sugar sound great. Thank you for posting.
Five forks and a smile :)
