Pickled Beets

- 5 c. vinegar shopping list
- 1 c. water shopping list
- 8 c. sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Wash and sterilize jars, seals and lids.
- scrub beets and boil until tender,drain then cool enough to handle, then peel.
- slice or dice beets and fill jars to 1 in below rim.
- Bring to a boil: sugar, water and vinegar
- Pour over beets.
- make sure rim is free of anything and put on seal and rim.
- As the jars cool , the seal will take. You will hear a pop
- recipe can be halfed or quartered. I usually do 1/2
