Ingredients
  • 3c AP flour
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 oz. beer (Heavier beers will give move flavor i.e.: Stouts, Porters, even Barleywines)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F
  2. Mix dry ingredients
  3. Add beer
  4. Stir
  5. Put it in something lubed
  6. Bake 45 minutes.
  7. Eat some beer bread.

This is so good, it's impossible to stop eating it - good on its own, or with spreads...just love this stuff!


Good old beer bread !! Thick and heavy! I love to make it with Newcastle, give and unmatchable taste. Sometimes i add yeast and a bit more flour and let the dough rise to make it more bread-like when i dont want it heavy.
