Pleasing Potato Pie

You will love this recipe. I love to make it for my family on a lazy weekend morning. It is also a good one for brunch. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded peeled potatoes( about 1 pound) shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, sivided shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt, divided shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 cup chopped fully cooked ham shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 tsp. salt.
- Press into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-in. pie plate
- In a bowl, beat eggs and milk.
- Add ham, onion, pepper and remaining cheese and salt.
- Pour over potato crust( dish will be very full).
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45- 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
