Kielbasa Roll

- Frozen rye dough (or pizza dough). rye is prefered shopping list
- 10 oz. kielbasa shopping list
- 10 oz. pkg. fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 4 tbsp. butter shopping list
- 1 lb. ( or alittle less) sauerkraut shopping list
- salt - to taste shopping list
- black pepper - to taste shopping list
- 6-8 slices swiss cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Let frozen dough thaw for around 2 hours
- preheat oven for 450 degrees
- take casing off kielbasa and cut into small pieces
- wash and slice mushrooms
- fry kielbasa and mushrooms with salt and pepper in butter about 8-10 minutes
- add sauerkraut and fry another 3 minutes or so
- allow to cool
- flatten out dough in rectangular shape. don't tear dough
- put half of mixture in middle of dough and add 4 slices swiss cheese
- fold one side of dough to center covering mixture
- add rest of mixture to center and add 4 slices of swiss cheese
- fold other side of dough to cover second layer of mixture and seal by pinching dough
- place on greased baking sheet seam side down
- bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes
- turn oven to 350 degrees and bake another 1/2 hour
- let stand for 10-15 minutes
- slice into pieces and enjoy
