Streusel Apple Pie

One of my favorite apple pie recipes. It has a wonderful custard surrounding the apples, and a crisp sugary topping.
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell. shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbsp flour shopping list
- 3 cups peeled, chopped apples shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- Streusel Topping: shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
How to make it
- Line pie pan with unbaked crust.
- Mix next 7 ingredients together and place in crust.
- Bake at 400 for 45 min.
- Make streusel topping while pie is baking, mix remaining ingredients together.
- Sprinkle streusel on pie after 45 min. of baking and return to oven that is lowered to 350 and bake an additional 15 min. longer.
- Serve with ice cream.
