Streusel Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell.

3/4 cup sugar

2 Tbsp flour

3 cups peeled, chopped apples

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 egg beaten

1 cup sour cream

Streusel Topping:

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup flour

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup butter

Directions

Line pie pan with unbaked crust.

Mix next 7 ingredients together and place in crust.

Bake at 400 for 45 min.

Make streusel topping while pie is baking, mix remaining ingredients together.

Sprinkle streusel on pie after 45 min. of baking and return to oven that is lowered to 350 and bake an additional 15 min. longer.

Serve with ice cream.

Oh yeah, I'll be trying this one - love the creamy filling and the crumbly topping...my favorite kind of pie! People don't seem to make pies at home anymore, but I've found a renewed interest in them and we have been enjoying them quite a bit...this one will be on the plate one day soon.
