Feta Scones

- Dough: shopping list
- 3 eggs (put aside two egg yolks for glazing) shopping list
- 1 cup yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 cups oil shopping list
- 200 gr. butter (room temperature) shopping list
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder shopping list
- 2 teaspoons of salt shopping list
- flour (as needed, app. 3 cups) shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 250 gr. feta cheese shopping list
- half bunch of parsley (chopped) shopping list
- On Top: shopping list
- Sesame shopping list
- Black cumin seeds shopping list
How to make it
- Set the oven to 200C or 400F.
- Mix all the ingredients except flour.
- Add flour gradually in order to make a non-sticky dough.
- Take a handful of dough, flatten it into a 1 cm. thick disk, put 1/2 tablespoons of filling to each ball, close it and make a ball.
- Place the balls onto the oven pan and put glaze with the egg yolks.
- They can be sprinkled with sesame and black cumin seeds before being baked.
- Bake for 25 mins. (or until they become golden color outside)
