How to make it

  • Add all crackers to a large double-bagged trash bag.
  • Add all seasonings.
  • Close bag and combine all ingredients inside by shaking or tumbling the mixture.
  • Open bag and allow to dry a few hours or overnight.
  • Place into other containers for storage.
  • Alternatively:
  • SUMMER MIX:
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. or less garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp. chopped chives
  • ITALIAN:
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 pkg. zesty Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 250 degree oven for 1 hour stirring every 15min,
  • CAJUN:
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • ADD-INS:
  • 2 c. cranraisins
  • dried fruit
  • M&Ms
  • 1 tsp. artificial butter flavoring

    Lots of variations - love all the suggestions. Thanks for adding more options to my current "mix"...it IS good stuff, no matter how you seem to fix it, it seems. Mine uses butter, but I will have to try your popcorn oil - I think I actually have some in the pantry...perfect!
