How to make it

  • In saucepan, cook celery and green pepper in margarine until tender.
  • Add remaining ingredients, except noodles.
  • Cook until hot, stirring often.
  • Serve over chow mein noodles.
  • Garnish with kumquats or mandarin oranges.

    Thanks for visiting this one, guys! As I said, I wasn't certain what to expect. We do have pineapple pie filling here in PA, peach. It's not one of the big brands but we have it. Meat and sweet, huh krum? You go, girl! Thanks for your kind ratings and enjoy this one!

    I don't think I've ever seen Pineapple Pie Filling though. I guess I'd substitute Pineapple and onion for celery.
