Ingredients

How to make it

  • Layer in a 13x9x2" pan in the order as listed above.
  • Refrigerate for at least 3 hrs. before serving. Enjoy!
  • MARILYN'S NOTES: I think that they are making Twinkies smaller these
  • days. This time, I had to split the Twinkies in 1/2 lengthwise to line
  • my pan. So, next time, I may just buy 2 pkgs. for a total of 20
  • Twinkies. Depends upon how much cake you like.
  • This time I was lazy so I bought 1 can (15.75 oz.) of Thank You Vanilla
  • Pudding made with Skim Milk instead of making the Instant Pudding. No
  • difference. This is the way to go for fast, easy preparation!
  • I used 3/4 tub of Cool Whip. 1 cup just does not do it. In fact, I
  • used the Sugar Free Cool Whip this time.

I am going to try this recipe soon. I love all of the ingredients you listed and they sound great together. I think I'll try what you said and put down 20 twinkies. I haven't bought Twinkies in a while and this is a great reason to.

Sounds great! Im not sure what twinkies are but i am guessing its a little sponge cakey thing? Maybe with some filling in the middle?
    I dont know, please help!

In Italy we have a world of "briosche" that can be classified as little sponge cakes singularly wrapped and used for kids lunches or snacks, also others called plumb cakes, these are yummy plain but moist sponge cakes!
Guess these would do good as a sub for twinkies in this recipe?
