Yellowstone Potatoes Au Gratin

- 1 jar Ragu garlic Parmesan sauce shopping list
- 3 cans sliced new potatoes (you choose the brand....) shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan or romano shopping list
- Optional: 1 small can diced green chilis, 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
How to make it
- Get a really cool can opener, like the XoXo ones....
- Open all the cans.
- Drain the potatoes, and put them in a 3 quart saucepan.
- Put the pan on the stove, or your campstove if you're actually camping !
- Stir in the Ragu sauce.
- Heat slowly - yes, I said SLOWLY to a low boil.
- Stir in the half the cheddar and mozzarella, and let them melt. If not cheesy enough, add more to your liking. Top with the Parmesan or Romano, and serve as the mood strikes....
- Note: If not garlicky enough, add the 1 tsp. Also, adding the green chilis adds a rather unique accent. Experiment !!!
- I actually had someone ASK for the recipe, and was somewhat embarrassed to tell them I just threw it together on the fly.
