This is my variation of several other recipes...it is creamy and I love it!

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2-3 Tbs flour
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 oz. cream cheese (fat-free)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Melt butter, stir in flour and seasoning until blended.
  2. Add cream cheese to melt some before adding milk.
  3. Slowly stir in milk and let cream cheese melt before adding Parmesan cheese.
  4. Whisk until thickened.
