If you ever find yourself needing a nice cookie, quick, try this. Just a small variation of the popular "cake mix cookies". Made them up on the fly when a wee lil voice asked for "chocolate cookies, please"...since I'm not a chocolate person so didn't want a bunch around and it was getting late in the day, this was what I came up with. - 1 box chocolate cake mix of your choice
- 4oz softened cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix of your choice shopping list
4oz softened cream cheese shopping list
2 eggs shopping list
1/2 cup powdered sugar shopping list

How to make it

Mix cake mix, cream cheese and egg until combined.
Roll into walnut sized balls and roll in powdered sugar.
Bake at 350 for about 12 minutes until edges set.
Remove from oven and lightly press cookies down(they won't flatten on their own without butter :)
Let rest on cookie sheet or stone about 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.

This looks awesome! I assume they're a little lower in fat since they don't have all the butter or oil in them. I can't wait to give these a try.
