Sliders Recipe
Since we don't have a white castle around us I came up with my own version of there slider

Ingredients
  • Prep time includes chill time in fridge
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground round
  • 2 onion diced
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dinner roll mustard
  • Worcesteshire sauce
  • Pickles

Directions
  1. In a a bowl combine ground round worcestesire and salt and pepper to taste
  2. Press meat on to a greased baking sheet and chill for at least 1 hr.
  3. Get an eye dropper and snip off pointed end remove meat from fridge and press eye dropper into it creating holes ( when you squeeze the droppers ball the meat will come out)
  4. Place try back into fridge
  5. if you have a griddle it comes in handy right now if not use a large skillet
  6. heat pan then add a little oil and the onions and saute' till translucent
  7. Remove meat from fridge and cut into patties that will fit on the dinner rolls
  8. Remove patties with a spatulla and place right on top on onions
  9. cover and let the steam from the onions cook the burgers when the burgers are almost cooked through turn them and lay the split dinner roll crust side up on top to steam
  10. When done top with mustard and pickles serve imediately
  11. Enjoy

I am so sorry you don't have a White Castle by you!! I can ship you a bagful, but they may be a bit chilled in this weather...there is something about a slider that you just get a crave for every once in awhile...glad you were able to create a clone!


1 1/2 lb. of ground beef
1 pkg of French Onion Soup Mix
2 Tbsp of Mayo
1-2 Cups of Finely shredded cheddar
pickle slices (optional)
3 packes of Pepperidge Farm Dinner rolls or rolls/buns of your choosing.

Directions
Brown and drain ground beef. Stir in soup mix, mayo and cheese.
Scoop onto buns and add pickles.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
