Belize Hot Sauce

- 1 small onion(s), chopped shopping list
- 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon oil shopping list
- 2 medium carrot(s), chopped shopping list
- 2 cup(s) water shopping list
- 15 - 20 habanero chiles, minced shopping list
- 3 tablespoon(s) lime juice, fresh shopping list
- 3 tablespoon(s) white vinegar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onions in oil until soft.
- Add carrots and water, bring to boil and cook, uncovered, until carrots are soft.
- Remove from heat and add habs, lime juice, vinegar and salt.
- Puree in processor until smooth.
- Makes 2 pints.

This sounds like a tasty fresh sauce!! The carrot adds a nice sweetness. I will be saving this one to try. You should have a look at my F-16 hot sauce recipe.. I think you would like it... ;-)~ Thanks for this recipe.. Jim
