Ingredients
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • Parsley to taste, chopped
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 3 bottles clam juice
  • 3 cans whole clams with juice
  • 1 pound scallops, raw
  • 1 pound shrimp, raw
  • 1 large lobster tail, cooked
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • Ground black pepper and salt to taste

Directions
  1. Melt butter and heat with olive oil in large saucepan.
  2. Saute the garlic in the oil and butter.
  3. Stir in flour until smooth.
  4. Add clam juice and canned clams.
  5. Add parsley.
  6. When mixture boils add raw, deveined shrimp and scallops.
  7. Cook until fish is done.
  8. Add cooked lobster tail and crab meat to warm through.
  9. Serve over linguini or spaghetti.

Thank you so much, michael! I'm really picky where seafood is concerned and texture becomes a problem for me at times so this dish is not for me. When the Cardamone family couldn't keep up the "7 Fishes" Christmas Eve tradition, they opted for begging this recipe out of the chef at the Jefferson House. This became their new 7 fishes. Thanks for your five, michael and I also am grinning from ear to ear. Enjoy!
