Ingredients

1-POUND CHEESE LOAF

7/8 cup buttermilk

2 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

2/3 cup grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese

3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

1/3 teaspoon tabasco sauce (optional)

1 1/2-POUND CHEESE LOAF

1 cup buttermilk

3 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup (4 oz.) grated extra-sharp Cheddar cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce (optional)

Directions

Place ingredients in pan in order given for your particular bread machine.

I recommend the light crust setting; bread may become quite dark brown on the sides, but light crust setting will prevent it from burning.
