How to make it

  • Beat cream cheese until fluffy
  • Add condensed milk, vanilla, & egg
  • Mix well
  • Melt butterscotch chips and butter in saucepan.
  • Add and stir in cracker crumbs and nuts.
  • Pat 1/2 butterscotch mixture into greased 9x13 baking dish
  • Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle the remaining butterscotch mixture on top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Let cool and then cut into bars.
  • I personally like to eat them while they are still a little warm.

The flavor in these are wonderful! Mine didn't stay together very well...but I think maybe I should have let the cream cheese come to room temp. before mixing...I'm not sure. Anyway...regardless we loved these and can't wait to make again and again!
