Peppers In Oil Recipe

Ingredients
  • 12 Hot banana peppers
  • Olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • A good parmesan or Romano cheese to taste

Directions
  1. Slice peppers and saute in olive oil with garlic til just wilted about 5 min.
  2. Stir in cheese and allow to cool.
  3. Serve at room temp. with shavings of romano on top
  4. Serve with a good crusty Italian bread and good real butter
  5. Enjoy

Hot banana peppers are a staple in my garden... can't wait for fresh ones to come in.... well wishful thinking that will be what 5 or 6 months from now !!! i guess I will have to go to the store.. ^5
