Ingredients
  • 1 lb. fresh peaches, peeled, pitted. and chopped, or one 12 oz. bag of frozen unsweetened peaches, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. orange peel, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbls. honey
  • 1/8 tsp. ground allspice

Directions
  1. In saucepan, add peaches and orange juice
  2. Bring to just boiling
  3. Reduce heat, cover and cook 5-10 minutes until peaches are tender
  4. Put in food processor and puree (makes about 1 1/2 cups puree)
  5. Put puree back inot saucepan with orange peel, sugar, honey and allspice
  6. Bring to full boil
  7. Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, stirring occasionally until thickened (10-15 minutes)
  8. Pour into air tight container and store in fridge

Oui, oui. this would be wonderful on many things. Biscuits, crepe fillings, cornbread, pork chops, with some brie in a quesadilla. YUM!
