Peach Butter

Great on breakfast items...Toast muffins scones etc.....I've also used it to compliment pork
Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh peaches, peeled, pitted. and chopped, or one 12 oz. bag of frozen unsweetened peaches, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. orange peel, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup orange juice shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tbls. honey shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. ground allspice shopping list
How to make it
- In saucepan, add peaches and orange juice
- Bring to just boiling
- Reduce heat, cover and cook 5-10 minutes until peaches are tender
- Put in food processor and puree (makes about 1 1/2 cups puree)
- Put puree back inot saucepan with orange peel, sugar, honey and allspice
- Bring to full boil
- Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered, stirring occasionally until thickened (10-15 minutes)
- Pour into air tight container and store in fridge
