Blue Cheese Vidalia Onions For Burgers Or Steaks

- 2 large vidalia onion s(or other sweet onion) cut into 1/2 inch thick slices shopping list
- 1 T butter or margarine shopping list
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed shopping list
- 1 c crumbled blue cheese shopping list
- 1 t worcestershire shopping list
- 1/2 t fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 t dried dill shopping list
How to make it
- Fold a 36x18 piece of heavy duty aluminum foil in half to make an 18 inch square
- Place onion slices in the center
- Dot with butter
- Bring up opposite edgesand seal with a double fold
- Fold remaining edges togheter to completely enclose the onions, leaving space for steam to build
- Grill over medium heat 25 minutes
- Turn packet ones halfway through cooking time
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine cheese, worcestershire, pepper and dill
- Use a slotted spoon to add grilled onions to the cheese mixture
- Toss to coat
- Serve as a topping for anything beef.

I finally tried this tonight on our steaks. A 5 is not high enough! I can hardly wait to have burgers just to make this again. My husband liked it so well he even put it on his salad as the dressing. Thanks for a great post!
