Simple Beer Bread

- 2½ cups self-rising flour shopping list
- ½ cup flour shopping list
- ⅓ cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- ½ teaspoon sea salt OR garlic salt shopping list
- 12 ounces beer (a honey wiess works nicely) shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- Lightly grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix the self-rising flour, white flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt together well.
- Pour in the beer, and mix just until ingredients are moistened.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Drizzle melted butter over top of batter.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow bread to rest in pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from pan and let it cool on a wire rack.

Nothing tastes better to me than a good beer batter bread, Krum! This one will be more wonderful because of the sweetness of those lovely honey beers. Thanks for posting this for all of us but most especially for me! ^5, of course!
