How to make it

  • Mix all marinade ingredients. Marinate boneless chicken breasts several hours or overnight. Grill outdoors, slice across grain and proceed with recipe.
  • Mix all crema ingredients and refrigerate.
  • Mix all slaw ingredients and refrigerate.
  • Assembly: microwave tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel until they are soft and pliable. On each warm tortilla, put sliced chicken on half of the tortilla, add a layer of the cabbage slaw, a healthy drizzle of the crema, maybe some diced avocado, diced tomato, sliced green onions, and then fold over and serve. Delish.
  • NOTE: You can make these with fish, too! I do.

    These sound great! We love both chicken or fish. But then if we can hold it down long enough to get it on a tortilla we'll make a taco out of it! Great post! 5! Dooley
