Lanes Georgia Peach Cobbler

- peach Filling: shopping list
- 1 quart of fresh sliced peaches shopping list
- 3/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbs butter or margarine shopping list
- cornstarch to thicken as needed shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 2 1/4 cups flour shopping list
- 3 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla or almond shopping list
- 1/2 stick buttter or margaine melted shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- For fruit filling, combine all in sauce pan and stir well.
- Then cook until it comes to a boil and thickened over medium heat
- Place filling in 8 x 11 or similar pan
- Mix topping ingrdients together and pour over filling.
- Sprinkle with some sugar and cinnamon
- Bake in a 300F oven about 45 minutes or browned
