I have this picture in my head what I wanted this to look like and taste like. I think I accomplished it.I fixed it. forgot to add cajun seasoning

Ingredients
  • 8 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb. of smoked sausage, sliced
  • 10-12 lg. shrimp, devain, cut into 3 pieces
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1- 14.5 oz. can of stewed tomatoes
  • 1 -14.5 oz. can of chicken broth
  • 1 T. cajun seasoning
  • 2 T. flour

Directions
  1. Fry bacon, remove from pan (leave bacon fat)
  2. Fry sausage, remove from pan (leave fat)
  3. Add onion and green pepper, cook for 5 minutes
  4. Add shrimp and cook 2 more minutes, remove from pan ( leave fat)
  5. Add flour, stir and cook for 1 to 2 minutes
  6. Add tomatoes, cook for 2 minutes
  7. Add all ingredients that were removed plus can of chicken broth
  8. Add cajun seasoning
  9. Cook for 30 minutes on low.
  10. Serve over rice
