My Gumbo

I have this picture in my head what I wanted this to look like and taste like. I think I accomplished it.I fixed it. forgot to add cajun seasoning
Ingredients
- 8 slices of bacon, chopped shopping list
- 1 lb. of smoked sausage, sliced shopping list
- 10-12 lg. shrimp, devain, cut into 3 pieces shopping list
- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1- 14.5 oz. can of stewed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 -14.5 oz. can of chicken broth shopping list
- 1 T. cajun seasoning shopping list
- 2 T. flour shopping list
How to make it
- Fry bacon, remove from pan (leave bacon fat)
- Fry sausage, remove from pan (leave fat)
- Add onion and green pepper, cook for 5 minutes
- Add shrimp and cook 2 more minutes, remove from pan ( leave fat)
- Add flour, stir and cook for 1 to 2 minutes
- Add tomatoes, cook for 2 minutes
- Add all ingredients that were removed plus can of chicken broth
- Add cajun seasoning
- Cook for 30 minutes on low.
- Serve over rice
