Ingredients
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, about 4 oz each
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • MARINADE
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons light sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions
  1. Place chicken in a shallow dish
  2. Combine marinade ingredients with 1 tablespoon water; pour over meat
  3. Chill, covered, 1 to 2 hours
  4. Remove chicken from marinade;drain excess
  5. Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  6. Cook chicken until no longer pink in the center, about 4-5 minutes per side

My hubby just bought a whole pack of miso paste at the Asian store. He wanted me to make some miso soup that takes only 1 tbsp. of paste. I was wondering what to do with the rest of it. Your recipe showed up just in time! Thanks!

Just stopping by to let you know that I made this and it was delicious! Garlic and ginger went so well with Miso in that marinade! The chicken tasted superb! Thanks again for a great recipe, definitely a keeper!
