Cabbage Pickles

- 1 lb white cabbage shopping list
- 4 green onions shopping list
- 1/2 c vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 c dark soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbsp sugar shopping list
- juice from 1/2 lemon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp red chili pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Shred the cabbage, and cut the onions into 1/2 inch long pieces.
- Combine the other ingredients in a large bowl and mix.
- Add vegetables to marinade.
- Cover with a dish that fits just inside the bowl and rests on the cabbage.
- Place weight on the dish, about 2 pounds, and let stand for at least 2 hours.
- Drain before serving.
