Quick Ravioli Bake

- 1 lb lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 onion - chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic - minced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 can (28oz / 796ml) diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 tsp dried Italian herb seasoning or oregano shopping list
- 1 lb fresh or frozen ravioli or tortellini shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a large non-stick skillet, cook beef over med-high heat, breaking up with wooden spoon, until no longer pink. 5 - 7 mins. Drain off fat.
- Add onion, garlic, salt & pepper & cook for 5 mins.
- Stir in tomatoes & herb seasoning.
- Reduce heat to med-low, cover & cook for 10 mins.
- Meanwhile in a large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook ravioli for 2 - 5 mins if fresh , 6 - 8 mins if frozen, or until tender but still firm.
- Drain well & add to sauce, tossing well to coat.
- Divide among 4 individual gratin dishes or place in 1 - 11 x 7 in glass baking dish.
- Sprinkle with cheeses.
- Bake in a 450 degree oven until cheeses have melted, about 10 mins
