Turkey Sloppy Joes Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground Turkey

1/2 small onion finely chopped

1/2 small green pepper finely chopped

1/2 small red pepper finely chopped {May omit}

1 can {8 0z. tomatoe sauce

2 tbs. Ketchup

1 Tbs. distilled vinegar

1 1/2 tsp. worecestershire sauce

2 tsp. sugar

6 whole-wheat English muffin Toasted

already prepared cole slaw and pickles {May omit}

1/4 tsp. hot sauce {may omit}

Directions

Spray a large non-stick skillet with cookin spray crumble in Ground TTurkey add onion and green pepper and red pepper

cook over medium high heat 8 minutes stir ocassionally

Add tomatoe sauce, ketchup ,vinegar, worchestershire sauce ,sugar, and hot sauce.

Mix well ,break up Turkey with a spoon

Simmer on medium low uncovered for 10 minutes Stir occassionally

Spoon equal amounts of meat mixture on to muffins serve with cole-slaw and pickles on the side.

Mmmmm...sounds yummy, and definitely different! Love the seasonings here, and it's a great idea to serve them on English muffins! The regular buns tend to get too mushy.
