Raspberry Martinis
From aimee 17 years agoIngredients
- 1 part vodka shopping list
- 1 part DeKuyper Raspberry Pucker shopping list
- 2 parts sparkling white cranberry juice (can also use sparkling white grape juice... in a pinch, use white grape juice concentrate with club soda) shopping list
- Marischino cherries (2 per martini) shopping list
- light Karo syrup shopping list
- granulated sugar shopping list
- red food coloring shopping list
How to make it
- Take the marischino cherries out of the jar, place individually on wax paper, and place in freezer. They help keep the drink cold, not to mention they absorb more of the raspberry flavor this way.
- Mix the vodka, raspberry pucker, and juice together, set in fridge to keep cool.
- Mix one drop of food coloring into a condiment-sized bowl with a little karo syrup. Apply to rims of the martini glasses.
- Mix one or two drops with sugar on a small plate, or larger bowl, and dip the sticky rims in. The Karo syrup makes the rims look even more pink and helps the sugar adhere. I've tried other things like honey, and lemon juice, but I like how the Karo syrup works.
- Chill glasses in the freezer until ready to serve. Put 2 cherries in each glass, and then fill with the martini mixture.
- Enjoy!
