Cream Cake

- 1 egg shopping list
- 3/4 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place egg in a liquid measuring cup and add heavy cream to fill cup to the 1-cup line. Place in a medium mixing bowl and stir together.
- Beat in sugar. Soft together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add to mixture. Stir in vanilla. Place in a greased 8-inch round cake pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
- This is a great cake served with fresh peaches and cream!
